Where we first met

In 2011, both Amanda and Frank were enrolled at Rogue Community College. Frank first laid eyes on Amanda when he walked into the classroom and instantly thought, what is this cute girl doing in a computer class. Eventually, Frank made the first move by approaching Amanda asking her how she was doing with homework in the class. From that, a friendship was forged and in time, a love for one another began to blossom.

The First Date

First dates can be the most exciting and nerve-wracking emotions to encounter. One can almost relate to Blink 182's song 'First Date'. Our first date was far fetched from Hollywood classics as it was completly sporadic. However, much like the famous movie Rocky, our first date started at the ice skating rink. While Amanda, showing off her ice skating skills, Frank was doing what he could from embarrassing himself from falling on the ice. Shortly after some fun on the ice, Frank and Amanda hit up a local coffee shop to warm up and socialize. All that talking and ice skating did create an appitie that Frank and Amanda decided to go eat some lunch together. Frank had the great idea of combining in a little more fun with food by suggesting Lava Lanes. Amanda agreed to tag along, but little did Frank know he wouldn't be landing any strikes because the kitchen was closed.

That still didn't stop the two from playing two rounds of bowling. The game was a draw as Frank won the first match and Amanda dominated round two. However, the fun was just getting started it seemed. Frank had promised food and what girl doesn't like food? Frank had another bright idea and took Amanda to Rocky Tonk, a country bar that served good beer and food. After a few drinks and playing some pool, Frank and Amanda where in for a suprise with the evening event when food was served. Being completely unaware that Rocky Tonk was hosting stand up comedy that night, the two were never checked for tickets and enjoyed a free show. After the show ended, it seemed the date was coming to an end. But, Amanda admitted to Frank that she had never been to a bar before. So, instead of calling it a night, the two walked down to the next bar at 4 Daughters, an irish pub and had another round of drinks over a game of darts. After a fun round of darts, Frank and Amanda went to the next bar to try out some karaoke. It was at that moment each other learned that neither one could sing and instead watched other people do the entertaing. Frank and Amanda lost track of time and realized that everything was closing. It was a clear sign that it was time to conclude the First Date even though the two could have spent the whole night with each other.
